We have expert tool & die designers and makers on staff to perform preventative and predictive maintenance as well as repair, rebuild or redesign for our all our tooling requirements.

Tooling

At Gem City Metal Technologies, we internally manufacture in excess of 95 percent of all production tooling. We have a staff of experienced toolmakers that produce tooling and can perform secondary machining on production parts. We utilize CNC lathes and mills as well as machine lathes, grinders and other tool room equipment to manufacture a tool that is right for the application. Because our tooling is manufactured internally, we can modify the tooling as necessary immediately.

Secondary Operations

Our goal is to add exceptional value to your production parts. With our tool room capabilities, we are able to provide many secondary operations for our customers. Many of the parts we manufacture require drilling, chamfering, punching, notching, laser cuts, or other precision machining so that the parts are ready to use when received. In addition to our internal capabilities, we also have qualified suppliers for welding, plating, polishing, painting and other processes. Our goal is to provide a part that is ready to use when it arrives at your plant.
